Access Africa for Rights and Development Initiative (Access Africa) is a civil right, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-ethnic organization driven by a vision of “a better world: a world where everyone live with dignity and have equal opportunities to thrive sustainably in a pollution free environment”. We aim to make this a reality through our mission: “to strengthen capacities and catalyze partnerships”. By doing so, we aim to create a system change in governance at all level and also transform the agri-food to enable sustainable and more equitable lives for all. It was founded in 2015 but incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2019 with the registration number: CAC/IT/NO 126615.
Our work goes beyond the implementation of impactful projects- together with government actors, and other partners- towards a deeper, more lasting change. We work towards systems transformation, and we make sure to build capacities for a long-lasting impact beyond project finalization.

In doing these, we aim to strengthen institutions, food security and effective governance within and across press freedom, agri-food, reducing gender equalities and human rights violations and barriers to social inclusion and enabling adaptation and mitigation to the climate and biodiversity crisis.
We are committed to sharing our knowledge, expertise and experience with other actors- governmental, institutional, NGO, CSO, and private sector- as well as adopting and adapting from their experience and expertise. We will be proactive in communicating passionately, critically, and clearly about our work and our learning to build understanding and leverage impact and influence.
Access Africa aims to revolutionize the quality of life and accessibility for hundreds of thousands of displaced women, women who have lost livelihoods due to pollution or conflict. It hopes to be a model making organization where governance, education and justice fully are accessible to women and the youths.
Therefore, Access Africa intends to make it some issues to act in all sectors of life, in all the geo-political zones of Nigeria with special emphasis on the women in the Niger Delta to make rights and justice more accessible and inclusive for 100% of its population.
The organization promotes topic of accessibility and giving voice to women. Promoting legislation, raising awareness, web portals, complaint centers, accessibility trainings, accountability in education, and accessible culture
Access Africa promotes social and environmental justice. It bothers on how pollution impacts on women and the common citizens who depends more on the environment for their livelihood.
Access Africa aims to share its experience and knowledge regarding gender accessibility so that the government can learn and implement.
